So if you didn't catch my last post, here is a short re-cap: I basically dominated the cookie game and made a piece of art known as chocolate crinkle cookies. Just waiting for the call from Food Network offering me my own cooking show.  Now enough showboating, lets get down to business! I have been thinking how I should finish out this blog, it needs to be graceful, entertaining, and not to mention challenging.  Then it came to me.  For my final blog post, for a while, I will accomplish two projects, a fun craft and a delicious dessert.  Calm down everyone! I know it sounds insane but I have to try for it!! Also it will be in podcast form so you all get to hear my soothing voice going through your ear holes so get excited for that!! Well I should go and let you all get mentally prepared for next week, so stay tuned!

So as we recall from last week I failed at one of simplest recipes probably known to man.  I couldn't even make a stinkin' peanut butter cookie for goodness sakes!! But that is all in the past and we should all look to the future or right now in this case because I am about to show you something.  Last week in my sneak peek post I declared that I would hopefully redeem myself by making some delicious chocolate crinkle cookies.  I have to say I sure did!!  So I found a wonderful and easy recipe for this delicious treat and I went to work.  Here is the video that I provided me with all this instructions to this recipe.

(Video creds: Allrecipes)
Ingredients:

(Just want to give my phone a shout out for having excellent picture quality...just kidding)
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

Now for the finished product (insert drum roll)

Don't you love my plate presentation?!?! Well I would have to say this was very successful baking adventure! I was even told by several of my family members that they were really good and they took multiple!!
Scoreboard: Savannah: 1  Everyone who ever doubted my abilities :0 (just kidding I have had a lot of support throughout my life which I am very thankful for)
GO ME!!

Oh Hey.  Long time no see. Well I hope you enjoyed my last post which was just me cooking peanut butter in an oven and calling it "cookies".  So now it is time to do the sneak peek post of what I will do next week.
So I have been contemplating for a short amount of time, since I really just finished my last post, what I should do for next weeks post. Then it came to me. I am going to redeem myself in the dessert department! I will again try to tackle a cookie recipe.  Chocolate Crinkle cookies to be exact!!
Stay tuned for next week to see if I can redeem myself!!!

Post #8: Peanut Butter Cookie Time!!

So today is going to be a lot of fun!! My reason being is that I make a pretty rockin' peanut butter cookie.  So get ready to have your minds blown to pieces.
Along with being a master peanut butter cookie artiste I am one of the laziest people like ever. So when it comes to actually doing something fun like baking I only have a limited amount of energy to exert so I was on Youtube and I found the perfect recipe for me to use.

(Video provided by High Volume Fitness)
Ingredients include:
1 1/2 cups Peanut Butter (I am using a lesser amount because my house is running low on Peanut Butter)
3 tbs of Raw Honey (I will have to cut down this amount as well to accommodate the amount of Peanut Butter I have to work with)
1 tsp Vanilla extract ( I have no vanilla extract so we are gonna see how almond extract works)

So this what the finished product turned out to look like...... You know that thing I said at the beginning how I was really good at making peanut butter cookies... Well I take that back.  These were absolutely awful. I am very disappointed  in myself.  I am a disgrace to all the peanut butter cookie enthusiasts out there.
Well that is it for the day! I hope you found this tragic fail enjoyable...

I know this is weird having two posts in a short time span but this is what happens when you are a procrastinator.  Now enough of taking about my awful procrastination lets talk about what this post is going to be about.
So I thought I would try something new on this blog.  If it turns out that it was a bad idea and I am disgusted by my choice I will revert back to my old ways. But if I enjoy this new change I will keep it this way forever and ever and ever and ever.  So this thing I want to try is a sneak preview post of what next weeks adventure will be.
Since I have not done a desert post since the Oscars ,#Leoisdawinner, I thought it would be nice to bring back the cooking portion of this blog.
So next week I will be tackling some delicious peanut butter cookies that I will probably mess up because I am a terrible chef. But we will just have to wait to find out. Stay tuned for next week!!

Hello everyone!!
If you couldn't tell by the title this week is another theme week.  Can you guess what it is??? OMG You are right it is Easter themed!!! So in honor of one of my favorite holidays I thought it would be fun to create an origami bunny.  So here is cool tutorial I found which was very well done by Origami Maniacs on Youtube.

Aren't they adorable?!?!?! Well if you didn't catch the supplies part of the video, don't you fear because I have got you covered.
Supplies:
 15cmx15cm sheet of paper
glue stick
Marker
Now it is time for the big reveal of my art.

Cute right?!?! Well I do have to say I am pretty impressed with myself.  When it comes to origami I am usually a mess but this is not to shabby I have to say. GO ME!!
